I spent fifteen years inside Enterprise and Fortune 500 organizations including Discover Financial, Grainger, New York Life, Boyd Group, and Johnson & Johnson. I led transformation programs, built operating models, and worked in environments where execution mattered and the consequences of failure were real.
When I moved into founder-led companies, I saw a different version of the same challenge. Great companies, capable teams, and strong opportunity, but the business had outgrown its operating model. Growth required the founder to be more involved, not less. That observation became the work I do today.
The pattern was always the same. The organizations that performed at the highest level were not built around heroic individuals. They were built around systems, clear accountability, and leadership teams that execute without one person making every decision.
